Weybridge, 12 July 2025 — Preparations are underway for the relocation of Weybridge’s library services to the brand-new Weybridge Library Hub, with a phased opening set to begin next month.
Library Services will vacate their current location at the Weybridge Centre on 26 July, ahead of their move to the new Hub on 19 August. However, Weybridge Community Services will remain in the existing building for the time being, continuing operations while final arrangements for their relocation are being completed.
The development of the new Weybridge Library Hub remains ongoing, and not all facilities will be available immediately. The opening will be staggered, with behind-the-scenes work continuing beyond the initial move-in date.
Officials have stated that ensuring a smooth transition for users of the Weybridge Centre is a top priority. A confirmed moving date for Weybridge Community Services will be announced as soon as possible.
It is expected that both Library Services and Community Services will be fully operational in the new hub by September 2025.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience and support during this important transition,” a spokesperson said. “We are committed to keeping residents informed as the project progresses.”
Further updates will be shared with the community as they become available.
